The RAK-LINK is a module which is used to establish a connection between RAK4 dimmers and the wired Rakom CAT5 network. It has the capability of powering the 32 Rakom devices up to 1000m over standard CAT5e cable. This means that it can be used to connect up to 8 RAK4 devices. The module is designed to provide a remote link between the RAK4 dimmer units and wired Rakom products. It also includes the 15vdc power supply for the Rakom network. The connection for the CAT5 is by 8 way punch down terminals that allow for a daisy-chain configuration of the Rakim wired network. The RJ11 programming sockets within the system allow programming using the RASOFT software utilities and the connection of other Rakom accessories like WA-Bridge interface.
