The RAPIR is a 360º ceiling mounted PIR motion sensor with Rakom RF motion detector capabilities. It allows the scenes to be selected automatically via movement. So, ideally suited to office and residential applications where automatic scene selection is required. In the default settings, the unit will select scene 1 and off with a timeout of 5 minutes. It enables you to select the activated scene and modify the timeout period. The module also listens to RCM/RCP wall plates and enables/disables the PIR motion function when not in use. It can be mounted via a ceiling cutout of 64mm diameter and then pushed into place without the need for fixing screws. This installation method ideally suits plasterboard or solid ceilings, as it does not require rear access to the unit and protects the surrounding finish.
