2D LED's and Bulkheads

Welcome to the SLB range of 2D LED replacement lamps for traditional 2D fluorescent compacts. Our lamps are particularly suited for commercial applications where long life and reliability is of prime importance. These lamps are available with 2 Pin RG8 and 4 pin GR10q, and they are a direct replacement for the florescent 2D's. With the 14W 2D LED you can replace 28W compact and with the 7W 2D LED you can replace the 16W Compact. Our lamps are directional so they give out an excellent bright light and will save approximately 50% in electricity costs over the traditional fluorescent 2D compact. The extremely long life of 35000 hours makes these 2D LED Lamps ideally suited to installations where low failures and low maintenance is important.

Why Choose Our 2D LED Lamps?

Our 2D LED lamp has a directional beam which means that it is more efficient than the CFL 2D compact because all the light is cast outwards where it needs to be and not backwards into the light fitting resulting in loss of efficiency. As a result the actual light level in the space (LUX level) will be much higher for a 2D LED of equivalent lumens output than with the CFL 2D compact lamp. This will inherently give much better illumination and efficiency.
The LED technology is far more reliable than fluorescent with the frequent switching that you get with PIR's. Consequently the 2D LED Lights will not suffer from premature failure long before the rated life as often experienced with fluorescent 2D compacts.
These high technology lamps have instant start and have no flickering unlike the fluorescent compacts.

2D LED Bulkhead Light Fitting

At SLB we stock wide range of complete 2D LED bulkhead Light fittings which come complete with the LED lamps. 2D LED bulkhead Light fittings are either available as a standard fitting or with a microwave sensor inside so the light comes on when movement is detected.
