Works as expected. More importantly, I initially ordered the wrong bulb, which was replaced within a few days. Excellent service.
I needed this to replace an original fluorescent G23 bulb in a desk lamp. Chose this as it needed to be quite short to fit in the lamp head. Works fine with a nice warm coloured light.
Excellent replacement for the original fluorescent producing a brighter light with virtually no heat output. The natural white lamp is still a little on the warm side though and I would have preferred a somewhat higher colour temperature to meet my requirement. Will it last long enough to justify the higher cost (mine were not bought at the discounted price)? Time will tell .

9 of the 10 bulbs delivered were fine, one has a loose connection. They are shorter than the GU23 fluorescent they replace so the lighting pattern is slightly different, but not significantly so. The wiring of the lamp fittings needed to be altered slightly, but Paul at SLB patiently diagnosed the snag I was having and it took about 10 mins per lamp to resolve. They now work well and we are very happy with them.
Does exactly what it says on the lightswitch; this is a most enlightening product.
