Fire Hood 250mm

A large fire protection hood to provide protection for non-fire rated ceiling lights or downlighters.
The hood is 250mm diameter and 200mm tall which means that it is ideally suited to larger ceiling lights. The 250mm diameter is measured to the inside of the hood which is the diameter of the air space inside the hood.
These fire hats are compliant to the BS476 Part 23 standard and give 66 minutes of fire ingress protection as detailed in this standard.
The installation process is simple because the fire hood can be folded and fitted through the aperture from below and then sprung out into its correct shape.
