IR Hand Sensor

An IR(Infra Red) controlled "hand wave" sensor used to turn on LED lights.
Requires 12-24 volt LED driver to power. Here is a 10w compatible LED driver but higher power drivers can be used to switch up to 30 watts if required. This sensor has an IR beam and detects hand movement within 80mm of the beam and switches the 12-24volt DC supply voltage on to illuminate the LED. This means you can simply wave your hand through the beam to switch on and again through the beam to switch off. They are ideal for under cabinet lighting or a host of other applications where this neat switch can be used.
Compact design matt aluminium surface mount IR sensor measuring just 20mm long x23mm wide x8mm deep which is surface mounted where the beam is required. A 2metre mini 2 core flex is supplied connected to the sensor control unit which is just 86x16x9mm in size.
Where a 12volt or 24 volt constant voltage light is used the same driver can be used for driving the sensor and light. Where constant current LED lights are being switched then a 12v DC driver can be used to driver 1 or more sensors and a 12volt DC relay can be used to switch the constant current driver for the LED light.
